About Us

The Trinity Mar Thoma Church Edmonton Youth group is the place where the future generation of leaders in the church, community and world grow and find their place in God’s beautiful creation. With the support of our fellow parishioners and counsel from our esteemed Vicar, we have roughly 30 young and energetic group of individuals.

Every month on the fourth Sunday, the youth get the opportunity to lead the choir and participate in the service. We also meet up twice a month to receive the word of God from our Achen on topics that reaffirm our faith in our living God. The youth often try and immerse ourselves within our society by volunteering at various establishments such as old age homes, helping our brothers and sisters in need of food by donating to the local food bank. We also hold many events where we can all come together and bond spiritually in our faith and friendship with one another by having games night, movie nights, dodgeball tournaments and picnics. To end off this year we will be having a retreat with a special guest, one day of fellowship, bonding and fun!

Overall, the youth group here at Trinity Mar Thoma Church believes strongly that the foundation of every young persons life should be founded on Christ and will continue to promote that message through all we do.
